The time of changing and resetting the machine is zero, as there’s no need to clean the SAI in between two jobs,” says Cungi.

Combined with the flexibility of the printable band width, this enables Neri Group to optimise both small and big batches. “We can offer competitive prices to our customers,” says Cungi. “This may include a small test round in a new market a customer is exploring, or printing 10 different country-specific labels for the same product,” he says.

Cungi points to the machine’s many benefits. “The SAI E uses inks of the highest quality with a coverage and natural scratch resistance comparable to screen printing. The machine can print on all substrates, from coated to film, without the need to primer the surface. We can adjust the amount of ink to create graphic effects that cannot be reached with other printing technologies. Finally, the colours of the SAI have remarkable brilliance, reaching a wider range of pantone colours and making a superior visual impact.”

The Screen Truepress L350 SAI E’s relatively low environmental impact was another important factor in supporting Neri Group’s choice. The machine allows for a significant reduction in colour and solvents waste by optimising use of these products, as well as minimising raw material waste.

Neri Labels, founded by Giampaolo Neri in 1977 and now headed by his son and Group CEO Enrico, has been a reference point for the pharmaceutical industry in northern Italy for more than 40 years. When Neri Labels acquired Biemme in 2019, the Neri Group was founded. It now consists of 70 employees, nine printing machines, nine operating tables, and numerous finishing machines. There are plants in Barberino di Mugello (Neri Labels), Siena (Etichettificio Senese) and Pozzolengo-Brescia (Biemme). The expected turnover for 2021 is EUR 14 million.

Screen Truepress L350 SAI E to boost flexibility of Italian pharma specialist BARBERINO DI MUGELLO, Italy / AMSTELVEEN, Netherlands – With the installation of a Screen Truepress L350 SAI E, Italian label specialist Neri Labels has enhanced its digital printing possibilities, adding a more competitive and flexible offering for short print runs in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics,…

[13
50,114,51,115,148,67

post-14278","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-label-packaging-fr","tag-label-packaging-de","tag-labels-fr","tag-labels-de","tag-truepress-jet-l350uv-sai-series","tag-truepress-jet-l350uv-and-l350uvlm-fr","entry","has-media
["GET
