Belgian label printing company Digi-Paq has recently installed a fourth SCREEN <\/span><\/i>Truepress LABEL 350SAI-S<\/span><\/i><\/a> digital inkjet label press reinforcing the strong partnership between the two companies.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kortemark, Flanders\/Belgium \u2013 <\/span>Digi-Paq<\/span><\/a>, a family-owned label printing business, began its journey with just 2 people and a single first-generation SCREEN Truepress LABEL L350 label press. From these modest beginnings, Digi-Paq has experienced rapid success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We started with one SCREEN label press in 2017,\u201d began Christophe Parrein, Co-Director at Digi-Paq, \u201cand because we always want to have the latest technology, we’ve bought six in the last seven years, replacing our older equipment with the latest models. Today, to keep up with all our orders, we have four Truepress LABEL 350SAI-S UV inkjet presses that operate continuously in two daily shifts.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s founder, Stefaan Parrein, recognised early on that the future of label production was in digital inkjet printing. Inkjet presses would allow Digi-Paq to meet evolving market demands for consistent quality, flexibility, and the ability to produce a wide variety of label designs on short notice. This convinced him that it would be most efficient to invest exclusively in digital label printing equipment from the company\u2019s inception.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Christophe commented on this decision, saying, “We saw that technology was changing. The conventional production process was effective for a long time, but clients have developed different expectations and new demands. Digital technology responded to those demands and gave us<\/span> unique selling points.<\/span> We believed digital would only get bigger, and I think we’ve been proven right.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“With our first press, we knew we wanted digital inkjet, but it was still unknown territory, said Frederik Parrein, Co-Director<\/span> at Digi-Paq. “After searching, we found that SCREEN had the best portfolio for our needs.
